Meet Sheriff Cheese (FIV+)

This handsome fellow is a STAFF FAVORITE at Fort Worth Animal Care and Control. “I'm a friendly fella who loves a good petting session. My purrs? Louder than a saloon on a Saturday night. I'll meow a sweet serenade for your attention - consider it my way of saying, 'I appreciate ya, partner'. Now, I won't sugarcoat it, I'm FIV positive. But don't you worry, I'm still full of life and affection. I reckon I'm just looking for a loving home where I can hang my hat. So, why not take a chance on ol' Sheriff Cheese? I promise to be the loyal companion you've been searching for.” Click here for more info about him!

He is FIV+ and can live in a home with cats that are negative. Ask us more about FIV and let us know if you’re interested in adopting Goliath!” Connect with the rescue here!

Meet Buffy (FIV+)

Charlotte (left) & Kennedy (right) 😍

This week we welcome special guest cat critics Charlotte and Kennedy, one year old littermates! These lovely ladies were rescued from outdoors in December 2023 after being born in July 2023. ❤️ They’re helping us put toys and products to the test so you don’t have to! This week, we’re checking out a board strategy game that doubles as a feeder.

🎁 What:  Trixie Fun Board Strategy Game for Cats, Puzzle Toy
💰️ Price as of 7/26/24: $24.99
👍️ Likes: Multiple games to play! Great for mental stimulation. Quality is great.
👎️ Dislikes: Wouldn’t hut if it were a bit larger, but that’s just being nit-picky. It also does not seem to have any interest from older household kitties.

Cosmo & Chip / Foster NEEDED!

🎉 Wrangler WAS ADOPTED 7/29/24! He is 7 years old and declawed 😿 Arlington Cats Alive.

Gorgeous Sailor Moon has spent roughly a year and a half in foster care after living a hard life on the streets. “I have lived in a Buddies Place foster home since January 2023 and am patiently waiting for my own home. Thank goodness someone found me and got me to Buddies Place. It is estimated I was born in June 2022. I get along well with other cats but have not been around dogs. My favorite toy is a rainbow wand and I look super cute when hunting it. I love sleeping in my cat bed or other soft places, I sometimes sleep at my foster mom’s feet and sit in her lap for short periods of time. I love getting pets when I’m sitting next to you. " Meet this lovely lady through Buddies Place Cat Rescue.

Meet Snow! Roughly 3 years old, Snow is a Four Paws One Heart alum. “She was getting beat up in her home so she came back to us so she could find a family of her own. Snow is a quiet kitty and would prefer a quiet home with no children or dogs. She enjoys sitting in her foster's office while she works. She likes head rubs and getting brushed. We know the right home is out there for her!” Contact Four Paws One Heart here.

12 week old Dobie has been adopted! is such a sweetheart, and handsome too! “He may be a little shy right at first but comes around quickly. He gets along with other kitties too and is perfectly litter trained.” Contact Maricats Rescue here!

FOSTER NEEDED! Meet Cosmo and Chip! They are brothers and they need a new foster. Unfortunately their current foster is loosing the space that was for them. If you can help, please contact the Grand Prairie Cat Crew.

Fort Worth Animal Care and Control.

We don’t know a lot about Miss Piggy (11) and Lilly (14) other than their age and that their photos broke our heart. (Honestly, animal shelters need to take better photos!) These senior ladies do not belong at a shelter.  Contact Fort Worth Animal Care and Control.
